Seller note:

This Hydra Sport 26 footer takes the big waves like no other boat and with it's Kevlar Hull, you don't have to worry about hull fatigue or flex cracks as time goes by. Hydra Sport is well known as one of the highest quality hulls in the boating industry and this 1988 hull has no defects AT ALL to report. It could use a good wax coat, but functionally, mechanically and structurally this boat is in great condition for ANY age. Roomy 8'6" beam provides plenty of room to run around the console while you land that big one. The twin 175 horse 1993 Johnsons are likewise in great condition as they start easily, idle smoothly and accelerate to full throttle just as they should. Both water pumps and fuel filters were replaced this year as in all years. 110 gallon aluminum gas tank. She'll not only get you out there fast, she'll bring you back safely. I've had this rig for 10-12 years and have always maintained it, kept it in covered storage (NEVER in the water) and have had nothing but great times and NO PROBLEMS. I wouldn't hesitate to jump right in and head 30 miles out. This boat features stainless props, aluminum T-Top with canvas top and rocket launcher rod holders, tilt and trim, boarding ladder, leaning post, huge round above deck live-well, self bailing hull with scuppers, raw water washdown, HUGE below decks fish box amidship forward of the cooler jump seat and lots of lockable storage compartments on the forward deck, anchor and rode storage compartment (150' of rope) and an honest to gosh functional stainless bow rail. Under the gunwales there's storage for 6 more rods out of the way, and 6 flush mounted rod holders IN the gunwales above for trolling, storage, running, etc.. PLENTY OF ROD STORAGE!! Trim tabs and stern mounted flat-line trolling releases round out this fishing boat. At 3500 RPMs she cruises at a gas saving ------- but at full throttle she'll do a wave bustin' -----. The trailer she's sitting on is a heavy duty factory made aluminum dual axle with elevated guide-on mounted lights (no water problems) and electric brakes. She's road ready, been maintained and you can come get her and pull her back home without any worries. We pulled this rig several times to the Keys and back with a 1/2 ton gas engine Chevy Tahoe without problems. Tires and lights are good.On the console there are several storage compartments, compass, depth finder, radio and antenna, numerous accessory switches for bilge, lights, etc., and hydraulic assisted steering with a stainless wheel. This boat will sell for a fraction of what a new Hydra Sport CC would sell for and still give all the fun and fish catching excitement you desire in an offshore fishing boat, so save yourself TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars and get a reliable tough sea worthy fishing machine that'll withstand the test of time and sea.
